Astrological Atrocities

Hi All,

Welcome to a new Macabre Monday challenge at Haunted Design House. For the next two weeks we challenge you to create a dark, Gothic or Hallowe'en based art piece that is somehow directly and obviously inspired by the signs of the Zodiac or Astrology.

If you are thinking "Astrology isn't your thing", check out what our sponsor and very talented Minion, Teri has to offer in her Delicious Doodles digi shop

Delicious Doodles Shop

First up, is the beautifully drawn horoscopes. Teri has been working feverishly on this new line. I believe it is almost complete with all twelve signs of the Zodiac

and then for those of us with a darker palette, Teri has created HORRORSCOPES ......... Badass, wicked and a must have for any dark crafter.

Here is my Astrological Atrocity
Using Libra from the Horrorscopes

The backing paper is Pile of Bones.  The main image is Libra from the Horrorscope range, she has been coloured with Promarkers and Marvey Le Plumes, then fussy cut, then mounted with blobs of Pinflair Glue Gell to give her some dimension. Both the digi stamp and bp are from Delicious Doodles, .

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

  4. Fabulous monochrome creation! It's nice to have a pop or two of color to break it up and grab the viewer's eye. Something's missing though.....
