31 Days of Halloween - Day 31

Happy Halloween!!!!

The countdown is over Halloween is HERE!  I hope you have all enjoyed Smeared and Smudged 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop as much as I have :) For those of you who have stumbled upon this blog I will leave the full blog hop list up for a while yet, so you can still view the amazing talent on show.

Here is my card for Day 31

Believe it or not, my intention was to keep this card really simple, with the focus on Stampinsanity's Lilith and Crafty Chaos Design's ghostly scene paper and it just grew and grew!.......... I'll just put some ribbon here and maybe a bow or two,........ perhaps a rose......or three,...... Mmmm needs a bit of bling and a swirl.....STOP!  Now the image is in danger of being swamped! but fortunately Lilith is strong enough to hold her own.

31 Days of Halloween - Day 30 and My Last Week as GDT at Corrosive Challenges

My project for today is doing double duty.  I would like to submit it for the Smeared and Smudged 31 Days of Halloween Day 30 and also for my last submission as a GDT at Corrosive Challenges, who's challenge this week is With a Flourish - add a flourish to your project (bling, die cut, stamped image, designer paper, etc) I think I have used all of these LOL

It's no good........I have tried, but you just can't make Nosferatu pretty!.... in fact I think he looks annoyed that I have even tried!

The Nosferatu stamp is from Las Vegas Stamps Online I have coloured him with pro markers. The backing papers are from Crafty Chaos Designs (both the same paper, one has been enlarged and greyscaled).  Everything else is from my stash.

31 Days of Halloween - Day 29

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are well?  I am completely wiped out!, Got back from Birmingham quite early on Saturday, but then a couple of hours later I was out of the house again to go to a Halloween Fancy Dress Medieval Banquet at Lumley Castle in Durham,  Which was great, I went as myself and my Husband dressed as a Goth, he looked FAB!...... quite fancied him LOL.

OK. who spotted that I got a bit mixed up with my dates/days Thursday, Friday and Saturday, which explains why I didn't have a project for you on Saturday 29th cos' I thought I was organised (as if!) and had posted for all of the days I was going to be away (no wonder you were confused Sugar :0)

My apologies to you all and here is my card for Saturday 29th

Some of you will recognise this little guy :) but this time I think he is putting his pants on! before the spider  crawls into them LOL  The Skeleton stamp is from Viva Las Vegas Stamps Online, the spider I liberated from  a pup last halloween and the spider stamp is from Ebay.

Today's card is nice and simple.  Here it is

I have had these cabochons for ages, I was going to make a choker, but never got around to it, so I decided to put them on a card.  The stamped frame has been embossed in gold, I went over the raised areas of the surround with a gold pen, I did this last night and the ink is still not dry! so I don't think I will be doing it again.

31 Days of Halloween - Day 23

Good Morning Everyone,

Hope you are enjoying your Sunday :)

I have decided to use a decoupage image for my project today.  I think she is lovely, but I also think I have over powered her by surrounding her with the bright orange and dark green....... it looked lovely in my head LOL

Anyway, here it is,

This is a close-up of the image

The decoupage image is by Molly Harrison, but I have had it so long I can't remember where I got it from.  I mounted her onto dark green card, which was then mounted onto orange card.  I stamped around the side with a swirly pumpkin stamp and another pumpkin stamp I used as a button to hold the tassel in place. The ribbon and flower (I do have green roses, but they just look like cabbages), are all from my stash. The whole piece was then mounted onto dark green card.

Welcome to Day 19 of Smeared and Smudged 31 Days of Halloween.  I did some hopping myself in small hours of this morning and the the talent on display is amazing! Well done all of you very talented creeptastic demons you :)

Today's project has been made to co-inside with Kenny K's Krafty Girlz challenge, which this week is Autumn/Fall colours....Yellows, Oranges, Reds, Greens and Browns,  I think I've used every colour but brown LOL.

I am quite proud of today's project (I know, pride comes before a fall), It took me ages to make and a couple of unscheduled visits to Hobbycraft (I'm going to apply for a job there!,) to replace spoilt items, lost pens and glue! can you believe I ran out of glue! what sort of crafter runs out of glue????  I sounded like Victor Meldrew....."I Don't BELIEVE IT!" LOL

Anyway here it is, I hope you like it as much as I do.

I have added another photo, the colouring is a bit better on this one

I have used two of Simply Betty's Steampunk Halloween stamps, Bella the Vampire and Jacob the Warewolf. I have coloured them both using Pro Markers. I then backed them onto a graveyard image, I borrowed from the net.  The gate is a 12 x 12 Die Cut from Creative Imaginations, which I cut in half and backed onto acetate (so it would stand up on it's own)  The sentiment is a digi stamp from Smeared Ink, which I also coloured with Pro Markers.

Hope you are all well :)  Here we are on day 12 of Smeared and Smudged 31 Days of Halloween.  For my project today, let me introduce you to the Mistress of the Night,  she reminds me sooo much of Elvira, (who I love!)

As I said, the image is called Mistress of the Night and she is a digi from Sassy Studio Designs (I think?)

I have coloured her using pro markers and watercolour markers.  The skull and crossbones lace backing is from and EBay seller - Nortex Mill.  The diamante spider I bought in Fenwicks (Newcastle) years ago, which I'd forgotten about.  The tassel is from my stash (I have a box full of them LOL) and there you have it!

After all the fuss and fancy of my last two cards, I decided to keep this one mega simple, and completely embellishment-less.

I think I'm addicted to this Orange and black combo :)

The main image is Kassandra from Stamp Insanity's  Devil Doll Set, I have coloured her with pro markers and watercolour pens.  The background is an image from the net and I stamped the bats on the moon (sorry, can't remember where I got the stamp from).  The sentiment is from Crafty Chaos Designs.

Here is the card I would like to share with you today, I hope you like it :)

Let me introduce you to Gillian Ghost Bride from the Simply Betty Halloween Steampunk range. The DP's are from Crafty Chaos Designs, these papers are from the Under Blood Red Moon set.  Check out the little black ghostie in the top right corner........ isn't he cute, he and the spider are from a little haberdashery in Whitby, a gorgeous little Gothic seaside town in the north of England.  Legend has it this is where Dracula,s ship docked when he came to England.  The lace, ribbon and flowers are from my stash.

31 Days of Halloween - Day 7

OMG! I am so sorry guys, my post is mega mega late!!! but in my defence, this time it wasn't my fault, my computer had a tizz was and crashed, fortunately, with the help of AOL, my daughter managed to get it up and running again, we have lost some applications, but we can re-install them later :) 

Anyway here is my project for Day 7 of Smeared and Smudged 31 days of Halloween.  This time I have made a scrapbook page.

The image is by Victoria Frances.  The bats and sentiment are stamped and heat embossed. Add some ribbon, some lace and some flowers and voilà!
