31 Days of Halloween - Day 4

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all well and enjoying Smeared and Smudged 31 Days of Halloween Hop :)  Thank you all so much for your kind and encouraging comments on my previous posts :), and I am so sorry I am so late with this post. I won't bore you with the details...... suffice to say it's been one of those days!

The credit for my project today, goes as much to Susan of Crafty Chaos Designs, as it does to me, as this card is made solely (apart from the ribbons and thingies) with DPs from Susan's Jezebel's Remains Set.  As soon as I saw them, I knew they had to be the focal point on a card and not just backing papers.

Anyhoo, here it is, let me know what you think:)

Sorry, the photo is out of focus.  I'll take another one in the daylight, that should come out better

Here is the replacement photo,

As (I hope) you can see I have decoupaged the roses and added a few embellishments, but apart from that the artwork is all Susan's ...........but I glued it together :D

I would like to enter this card in the following challenge(s)

31 Days of Halloween - Day 3

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to day 3 of the Smeared and Smudged 31 Days of Halloween :) I hope you are enjoying the Hop so far.

For todays project I have slipped back into my comfort zone of  using Anne Stokes images (cos her's are better than mine).  The one I have chosen to use today is called Ghost.  I have kept the layout simple so that the focus is on the image.

Here it is, let me know what you think

This Photo is of the main image

This photo is a closer look at one of the embellishments/diecuts I have used

This is a close up of the sentiment I have used

I have used Ghost by Anne Stokes as my main image mounted on black embossed 12 x 12 card.  For the embellishments, I used Spellbinders Shapeabilities and then coloured them with black Sakura Gelly Roll pens to make the Glossy.  The sentiment is stamped and heat embossed.

Oooh Noooo NOT CHRISTMAS!!!

Yeah! you guessed it! I'm not a big fan of Christmas.  It's not that I'm a miserable so and so, it's the pressure!!!  The house has to be perfect, the fridge and freezer have to be full to groaning point with food, I buy dates....... nobody in my house likes dates..... why do I buy them????? and God help the person who takes the satsuma off the top of my beautifully constructed fruit pyramid!!!!!  I turn into this manic woman gripped by Panic!!! is it all going to be ready in time????  On the plus side,  I love spending time with my family and friends :) and I love watching the kids open their prezzies on Christmas morning, I don't even mind getting up at the crack of dawn to do it :)

Anyway, enough of my rambling, the Challenge over at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz is to use a Kenny K image with a Christmas Theme, so........

Here is my entry :)

This cheery little guy is Scrooge, one of the new Christmas images from Kenny K Downloads.  The sentiment is from Viva Las Vegas Stamps, the snowflake card and ribbon are from my stash.
I would like to enter this card in the following challenge(s)
