Oooh Noooo NOT CHRISTMAS!!!

Yeah! you guessed it! I'm not a big fan of Christmas.  It's not that I'm a miserable so and so, it's the pressure!!!  The house has to be perfect, the fridge and freezer have to be full to groaning point with food, I buy dates....... nobody in my house likes dates..... why do I buy them????? and God help the person who takes the satsuma off the top of my beautifully constructed fruit pyramid!!!!!  I turn into this manic woman gripped by Panic!!! is it all going to be ready in time????  On the plus side,  I love spending time with my family and friends :) and I love watching the kids open their prezzies on Christmas morning, I don't even mind getting up at the crack of dawn to do it :)

Anyway, enough of my rambling, the Challenge over at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz is to use a Kenny K image with a Christmas Theme, so........

Here is my entry :)

This cheery little guy is Scrooge, one of the new Christmas images from Kenny K Downloads.  The sentiment is from Viva Las Vegas Stamps, the snowflake card and ribbon are from my stash.

Happy 30th Birthday

Ooh I remember being 30.......sigh.   Never mind it's someone else's turn now and I hope they enjoy every minute of it!

I was inspired to make this card by a card I saw on Susan's Crafty Chaos.  When I saw this image I thought "I've got that decoupage sheet" and look how good it looks,  So I made this card for the sister of a friend of mine.  Think I went a bit overboard with the embellishments...... it looks a bit cluttered LOL.

Anyhow, here it is, let me know what you think

The decoupage image is from The Crafty Purple Frog.  The backing paper (that you can just see in the top left corner) is from Crafty Chaos Designs.  The ribbon, lace (yes, there is lace) and flowers are all from my stash.

March Hare

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are are all well :) Thank you all very much for your kind comments and congratulations for my daughter Alex.

March Hare is the name of the image I used for the card I would like to show you.  I bought this image sometime ago, from the Octopode Factory and the proceeds went to help the victims of the riots in London.  But never got around to using it.  Then my friend asked me to make a Birthday card for one of her colleges at work and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity (and also very apt, considering I also know said college LOL).

So here it is, let me know what you think :)

The image is March Hare from the Octopode Factory.  The sentiment is from my twisted little mind.  The backing paper is from Crafty Chaos Designs, but you won't be able to buy it, as this is how this particular sheet looks when the printer runs out of ink LOL  I thought is was cool, so I used it anyway.  The brads, ribbon and lace are all from my stash.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenge(s)

The Poodles Parlour - Tea Party (Well, he is the March Hare!)

In The Pink

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all well :)  Thank you for all your kind comments on my previous post.

The Challenge this week over at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz is use your all time favourite Kenny K Image.
This was hard for me, cos I love them all!!!  Then I thought, which image do I go back to time and time again?...........BodaciousBev! She is so much fun to colour.  I have coloured her in pink and I mean PINK !!!, which is a bit unusual for me, as I'm not a pink kinda girl :)

So here she is :) Let me know what you think

For the main image I have used BodaciousBev from Kenny K's Downloads  I have coloured her with Pro markers and watercolour pens.  The doily is from Poppy's Cabin.  Everything else is from my stash.

The second image I have chosen to represent Greed/Gluttony

The third image I have chosen to represent Vanity/Pride

......and here is my finished project.......This is the outside

This is the inside
